Floating floors panels are just 25mm thick, and can be used with our 16mm Pert-Al-Pert pipe. In new build or an existing floor the use of a 16mm pipe rather than a smaller bore pipe means more heat from the same area and you can also have a 100meter circuits, rather than just 80meters and therefore potentially save on the number of manifold circuits required for your system.

Floating floor panels are low profile floor heating system ideal for both renovation and new build projects These lightweight and space saving panels allow for easy one-man movement and eliminate the need for floor screed
Floating floor panels allow floor heating to be installed where traditional under floor systems would either require expensive excavation or would require the floor to be raised to an unacceptable level.
The floor finish, tongued & grooved chipboard or wood strip flooring, is then laid directly over the panels, leaving a small expansion gap around the perimeter of the room.
Floating Floor Panels
EPS insulation floating floor panels are designed to provide many advantages over other insulation products when used with underfloor heating systems. Our Overlay Panels comprise a rigid thermal insulation material with grooves of a specified diameter and pattern positioned in the upper surface. The upper surface has an aluminium foil bonded to it, following into the grooves, which acts as a radiant surface to maximise heat transfer and reduce system start up times. The grooves in the insulation securely retain the pipework, eliminating the need for supplementary fixings.
